\r\n \r\n I wear high Fox socks under my Icons and that helps some... but they still slide down and I end up with busted up knees\r\n

I started riding with the Icon shin/leg guards and after I got comfortable slow walking with them I stopped riding with them.
After learning my lesson banging up my shins on my cage, I put them back on lately and now it feels like I'm trying to ride with two casts on my legs.
What do you rock? what's a good balance of comfort and balance?
