\r\n \r\n i had an FI cage on my r6 and it held up through alot of crashes, but i dropped it one time took a quick glance and everything looked ok ( it wasnt, the bolt that held the bottom of the cage to the frame slider broke) so when i dropped it again it forced all the pressure on one side and sent a crack from the bolt all the way to the top of the head.

\ntechnically the cage was doing its job , i just wasnt paying attention so operater error on that one

\r\n \r\n yup i had an FI got hit by a taxi and broke both motor covers and twisted the cage up real bad. stupid fuckin taxi driver never even payed for my shit and now his insurance company dont even answere. (thats mexico for you.)\r\n

Everything stays tight, I\'ve rode with this cage all this year/season and no problems. The cage is straight, just didn\'t protect my engine in this fall. It was a bit of an awkward fall, but it cracked the hell outta my stator and took a chunk out my engine Quote:

\r\n \r\n i have my second FI cage on right now. its had about 7 pancakes in the lot and its got some damage. the FI cage is great on the street tho. i dropped an R6 goin 60 and th bike and cage were ok. i drove it home. i may consider a different cage next, but FI has done well for me so far\r\n

I still would prefer race rails or sliders. the loop goin under the bike makes it a little low. but it works for street. or an easy faller Quote:
