m dub's six dirty six build up - beardo - 08-13-2026 \r\n \r\n just saw your thread dub...looks good! im not in the know about the spacer or how to fix the bent rear tank bracket, had my tank off today and sure enouph...it was sideways...lol looks like an easy fix, when you get this bike running you will never even look at your f4i again... i have zero regrets about swiching, as a matter of fact this bike made me a better rider already...ive only rode it four times!!! i now know why these bikes have been refured to as cheater bikes...lol i was never able to drift the f4i.... im pretty much killing drifts now on this bike!!! i am also able to step through to 50/50 and just today i mad my first jump to 50/50...its freaking awsome!!!hahaha i heart 636.... my advise to you tho is to do something right away to get the cooling issues in check before you start rideing it and over heating it..... i believe that bike will last longer the cooler you can make it run.... Dub... ima send you those bars on tues!!!\r\n
m dub's six dirty six build up - mdub4life29 - 08-13-2026 \r\n \r\n ^^^^^^ Anyone have any cheap good ideas? I can\'t use a search on my phone \n I do know I need to flush the cooling system I think he has water in it or or the yellowish coolant looks shitty\r\n m dub's six dirty six build up - beardo - 08-13-2026 \r\n \r\n i hear ppl like to soak it in clr, i never did that but my bike has pretty low miles, also i am running some yellowis coolant , looks like shish but its brand new.... i wouldnt over do it w/ the coolant tho.... nothing cools better than sraight water, and im only planning on running distilled water so ther is no minerals in it to clog the radiator\r\n m dub's six dirty six build up - mdub4life29 - 08-13-2026 \r\n \r\n Ya but what about fan. Stock fan dual fans different fan?O and which wires do u hard wire together so the stock fan temp switch will still work if u forget to turn it on. I haven\'t had time to check for power and shit.\r\n m dub's six dirty six build up - beardo - 08-13-2026 \r\n \r\n \r\n im running stock 636 and stock 08 r1, my bike stays so cool!!! are you gonna run a headlight? i just stole power from my head light for my fan so it comes on w/ my ignition, but you could always just run a wire to your fuse box. the way i did it doesnt require any hacking of your harness. leave the fan motor pluged into stock harness, then un plug the sender on the radiator, test the two wires one will have constant power, even w/ ignition off, thats why you cant use it. find a power source that is only on when key is on,run a new wire and plug it into the other connection that has no power for your radiator sending unit...wha-la your fan now comes on w/ your key!\r\n

m dub's six dirty six build up - beardo - 08-13-2026 \r\n \r\n as far as second fan goes you prob need a rad cage to make that happen...my buddy sand box is building some, you can see mine in my thread, if you have any kind of fab skills and access to a welder it would be pretty easy to build somethin...\r\n |
