New Project - N/A - 12-03-2009 Dyin' to see this! New Project - Nick Apex - 12-03-2009 I was into cars for a long time, raced a lot back in WA before I was into motorcycles. This is actually going to be somewhat of a budget build to be honest. When it comes time to really make it handle and be fast that's when my wallets going to hate life. This is my 9th Corrado. It was an VR6 AWD turbo that was parted out to fund moving to Vegas back in the day. I held onto the shell and it sat up in Washington until my parents threatened to kill it with fire. I towed it back home last winter just to have it here. I recently ran into two compete VR6 swaps. I picked up two wiring harnesses headlight to taillight, complete motors with every accessory, clusters, subframes, transmissions, drive shafts, brake assemblies, everything, all for 3500 shipped to Vegas from a Florida shop that was hurting. I can't wait to bring this car back to action. I've had this car for over 10 years now. It's had a lot of different setups. This is the one I always wanted to do. Price breakdown: Shell is paid for, wheels are decent enough to use for now Full swaps with everything 3500 Coilovers 1500 Brake upgrade 1000 Welding is going to be done by a friend of mine, I may trade him one of my 636's that's seen better days. I want to have less than 6K into it prior to boost. I probably have 2 full spare cars worth of parts so it's possible. I still have a lot of my turbo parts in storage too. So it's definitely somewhat of a budget build considering the end result. edit: 4 month goal is just to have the rear engine in and wired, hopefully running haha. New Project - ego - 12-03-2009 this has been done before if you haven't seen the car yet I am sure it's on some VW site. I seen it many moons ago at a car show and herd it was sick. Good luck with the build I just can't see putting money into cars anymore cause you never get it back or some dipshit is gonna steal it like my last two New Project - StrictlyStunt - 12-03-2009 One of the turbo mags did a rear engine mount vr6 couple months ago. 500rwhp twin turbo vr6. dual motors sounds insane tho.
