Re: motorcycle laws - budd (SMF) - 11-13-2007

I recently put on a 12 o'clock bar on my '06 636. i had to remove the rear brake light and put two red l.e.d lights on the rear. one for the tail light, and one for the brake light.  Both are visible from the rear. I was told tonight that they had to be one above the other. does anyone know if that is correct? Any informationa nyone can give on this topic would be greatly appreciated.
mine are side by side and ive never been messed with and i live in ny   doh
