New stunt parts - SickIan - 03-06-2015 This is why we quit making them. We were losing money on them at 400.00 and people still thought they were over priced. The amount of work that goes into one, they should sell for 800-1,000.00. If not more. Stunt parts are way under valued, but we can only charge what people will pay... New stunt parts - lee majors - 03-07-2015 clip-ons that have an offset riser so they come off directly above the triple. like how dirt bars sit directly atop the triple, but with clipons. 5-7 degree up angle preferred. just don't blame me when everyone wants them New stunt parts - SickIan - 03-11-2015 What would be the benefit? The clip on tubes would have to be really long also. New stunt parts - lee majors - 03-13-2015 no reach to the bars (for normal riding). the clipons would be long but (depending how you engineered them) the brake master could mount toward the inside end of the tube, above the fork. that way the clipons wouldn't protrude past normal clipons. just a thought. nobody makes anything even remotley similar. you always have to sacrifice..too close..to far forward..too long (bar end to bar end). you get the idea. New stunt parts - Larse - 03-15-2015 You mean something like darwin bars, but with clipon tubes instead of a cutdown dirtbar? New stunt parts - lee majors - 03-16-2015 kind of. the bars wouldn't have a bend though, and would sit higher above the fork caps. New stunt parts - stlwade - 03-16-2015 Maybe I'm missing something but why can't u just put fully adjustable clipons on to the side of the fork and raise them up a few inches and you'd have same result. Your clipon bar would be derictly over ur forks New stunt parts - lee majors - 03-16-2015 if i'm picturing that right, that would still render anything above the fork unusable for control (brake master, etc) mounting purposes, so the clip on would have to be really long to accomodate that stuff. i'm no engineer so bear with me. simplest design i can think of..imagine a convertibar with an offset bend in the riser. i'm sure their are way better ways to engineer them, or maybe not, but i'm just throwing that out there to give you an idea. New stunt parts - JBoom - 04-21-2015 A top billet triple with fluid res.built in to do away with hoses and plastic res. New stunt parts - lee majors - 04-21-2015 he did it already on the prototype. it didn't work |
