New best stoppie tire? Bridgestone S20. - ROWDY - 06-03-2013 My Shinko Apex 120/70 hooks up better than that in mud. Post a video coming in 4th gear pinned on wet pavement and you might get a little bit better response IMO New best stoppie tire? Bridgestone S20. - mart211 - 06-03-2013 They work fine until its wet or cold like i mentioned before. Am not looking for great response or whatever, am just letting people know what am getting with this tire and its worth a try. Am not sponsored by Bridgestone and i dont get anything out of it, so i dont need to make any special vid to sell this tire to you. Just letting fellow riders know that this new tire is worth a try. This vid is made by some dude at the lot, not to show anything. I posted it cause it was cold and wet and i did stoppies....thats it. New best stoppie tire? Bridgestone S20. - ROWDY - 06-03-2013 Not trying to sound like a dick Mart, but posting about a "New Best Stoppie Tire" would make me think that you had tested and have proof of said testing. The video I watched was a bit misleading. Yes it might have been a tad wet but any tire off the shelf will hook up in slightly wet conditions. These new squids need facts! Make us a believer of your claim... That being said, the Shinko Apex front I spoke of hooks up stoppies over and over at 150mph. New best stoppie tire? Bridgestone S20. - kirny - 06-03-2013 I'm with rowdy I run the same tire and it is pretty money I'm by no means a stoppie god but I never trusted pulling up stoppies here when it was cold cause all my tires were shit once I found this tire that I trust my game has improved alot New best stoppie tire? Bridgestone S20. - navajowalks - 06-04-2013 That much better than a pilot power then uh? New best stoppie tire? Bridgestone S20. - Kole.S - 06-04-2013 I cant hook up for shit on seal coat with my pilot power. Thats all there is now is seal coated lots...
New best stoppie tire? Bridgestone S20. - mart211 - 06-04-2013 Yeah, no worries. I had a question mark at the end of "New best stoppie tire?" More of a question than a statement. That vid was just me riding with that tire. It works awesome for me and wanted to let others know. No "review" or selling shit included ![]() I have never heard of that Shinko...are they good in wet and cold too? Just curious, cause nobody sells em here. And just to mess around...that vid shows that this Shinko holds on superb condition. On drag track even Pilot Road would pop us stoppies Just messing, dont take this serious
New best stoppie tire? Bridgestone S20. - ROWDY - 06-04-2013 Mart they work great on my zx6r in any and all conditions. Cold (38 degrees here) wet, dry, seal coat, asphalt, concrete, 110 degrees or whatever. These new line of Shinkos hook up amazing. From my front wheel experience, which is more than 99% of the world lol, I love them. For the price point here in the USA they beat Michelin and Dunlop hands down for our style of riding. I have been testing an Advance 120/70 for about a month and like it too. It has a flatter profile like the old Pilot Sport which I loved. Now as far as the 150mph Stoppie world record goes LOL... I dont really know that there is a "Superb Condition" when grabbing enough front brake to eject you over the front like you were spit out of a circus cannon! haha New best stoppie tire? Bridgestone S20. - navajowalks - 06-04-2013 I'd have to see a shinko hook on that same seal coat to belive it o be that much better.. New best stoppie tire? Bridgestone S20. - ROWDY - 06-04-2013 Its more about suspension setup than anything. I bet I could come out to any of your lots and hook right up w zero problem. Ive never been to a spot in the last 5 yrs that I couldnt. |
