What do i do now? - old man roger - 04-08-2013 A lot of times when you are going slow they coil up like that almost instantly. Think about whats happening when it breaks, the front sprocket is pulling the chain forward but nothing is pulling it out the bottom. It's actually less likely to coil up when you're going fast, they tend to shoot out clean then. You do know the round part in the picture above the chain that the motor mount is going through is a spacer and not part of the engine right? What do i do now? - B954Fl - 04-08-2013 Ya I know, thts not what im tlkin about. The bolt going into the case on to the right of where shifter linkage hooks up. And ya I guess it makes sense. What do i do now? - ~03~raven - 04-10-2013 Sucks man, and maybe pics don't do it justice but man that doesn't look all too bad. OMR or someone else locally should be able to fix that up no problem if you wanted to weld it up and not just do the JB weld route. Doesn't look like you need a new engine or anything though. What do i do now? - B954Fl - 04-11-2013 If it was you would you drop the motor and jb it or leave it in,take the bolt out put jb around bolt and crack and thread it in with jb all over it? And I know I cann jbweld it the problem is will it hold. Ive jbwelded a crack in motor mount before and ya it held for 2 weeks and I thought everything was all good and it started leaking again. What do i do now? - B954Fl - 04-11-2013 Ok got it thanks |
