Raven there is oils bad for you clutch, and yes not nessesarly synthetic oil... But why not use 10w40 like the manufacture recommends?! Rotella make 10w40 too LOL

I am gonna pin the drop in oil level on blowby for now lol.....It's been raining and deputy Farva decided to write me up for a bunch of bullshit tickets two days ago so I have been laying low.

and as far as the 5w40 Rotellla goes....that's just what all my friends and alot of forums recommend. Not sure why the 5w40 but I have seen an F4i running on it REFUSE TO DIE......then again it was an F4i. But honestly even alot of racers back the rotella 5w40.

It's just thinner on cold start up... Would just think if your having a blow by problem may want to consider a little bit thicker oil.. or an additive like Lucas... Not a big difference between 5w40 and 10w40 but it might be something to think about.

I see what you're saying but I have never heard of anyone using the shell T5 which is there 10w40

i use rotella T5, simply because i dont trust full synthetic oil. T5 is semi synthetic, so you have man made dyno blood, and real dyno blood in your motor

Yea I don't know anything about that... Just stay away from oil with energy saving or energy conserving... There should be an icon on the back of the bottle... That's the oil that's not good for wet clutches...
