Rebel t3 video help - Blizzle - 08-09-2012

I have a t2i & can only shoot vid for like 5 sec then shuts off. Sometimes it does longer sometimes not so much. Anybody else have this problem using DSLR I heard it could be memory card?

umm...maybe its the card. If you bought a generic off brand card they can have bad sectors which makes your recorded videos unplayable when it reaches a bad frame.

If it is an off brand card I would use it as a last resort and get a branded, reliable card.

You may be able to isolate the bad sectors for now but you do not know if any will pop back up in the future.

Don't risk the memories you have through the pictures and videos because of a cheap, unreliable memory card.

Try San Disk, Kingston, or Transcends.

I personally have a couple San Disks and Transcends. They work great.

assuming you have a T3i (maybe you don't)
-set your lens to Manual focus
-have someone stand exactly where you want the action to be.
-click zoom button twice. it should say 10x
(top right hand corner of the camera there should be plus & minus magnifying glass pictures.)
-focus on your subject using the focus ring on the front of the lens.
-click the plus button once more to exit zoomed view.
-hit record and get deals

its the t3, and thanks ill def try this out
