One thing you could try which even helped me on my f4i was putting the inside leg on the ground. With the 50 I imagine you'd have even more control. It helped me get the circles a lot tighter doing that too. As you practice start trying to lift your leg off the ground once you start getting a couple circles in a row. You'll eventually just leave it on the peg the whole time.

As far as how far to extend your arms, I'd try whatever keeps your torso pretty much perpendicular to the ground. That'll be a good place to start. Make the circles look good and effortless later.

One thing, what gear and speed are you working on with the sitdowns? With high pressure and goin pretty slow that thing should try to circle on its own.

my gear is a helmet and gloves. its an 05 honda fiddy with the 88 bore kit on it which i think is alot funner then stock. i can put my foot down and do circles until im dissy, but if i fag drag and then put my foot on mid circle i can get maybe one full circle. when i go straight to circle from wheelie with no fag drag i can get a horse shoe sometime but my inside foot is all over the place trying to keep balance.

I hate when people stick their leg out to get the bike to circle. Just looks sloppy. I fought with sitdown circles for a few days before they clicked. I found it helped a TON to keep the front just a little higher than it felt like I needed. I'd lean back and keep the bars close to my chest. If the front drops too low, you'll end up losing the circle (and horse-shoeing out). Also, use your body weight to your advantage.

Sitting way back, counter steering (but, not much), knees in. You can see I've got my weight to the inside. That + a high front wheel = bike circles itself.
