No it will not sweat, harden, yellow or crack for a long time...It is the proper hose to be used, and the only hose I would use for brake resQuote:

\nAlot of people use regular clear tubing from a hardware store, that is not brake fluid resistant...That is the stuff that sweats, yellows, hardens, and cracks\r\n

\r\n \r\n Tygon "2075" is the clear hose for brake fluid. Other tygon hoses like 4040 are for fuel and other stuff.. eBay got it on the low, I think the company is called curveygurl or something...\r\n
