do you still have the crf150 or cr125? it's a little easier to learn on them. If you can ride wheelies on a 2 stroke dirtbike, it will be easier to get the clutching down on a streetbike.

This is me doing a little half high chair on the klx110 (not sure what its called but i dont have a hand brake)
I dont have the cr125 or crf150r anymore and lost vids with my last computer. I can get some 85 wheelies on film if u want though my neighbor would let me ride his, it dont have rear brakes so i cant go back to far though.

Little piece of advice since i was like you when i was 17,
-If you can find people around you that are good go hang out with them show them your in it with everything you got.
-I gained my respect from the dudes that taught me by folding my bike in half and still trying to learn idle. Id go out everyday i could and wad ass but get up and go again.
- The day it clicked was when i learned ss with handbrake
-stick with it through the hard times. most guys like myself will discourage the new comers just because they tried, didnt listen got cocky and gave up after a crash or 2.
