well stretch i bought this 04 yzf600r... and im wanting to sell it to get an f4i or 636.. but i cant get the title, and the guy i bought it from lost it, and never put the bike in his name, so i went through the guy before him, and asked if he would go file for a lost title, and now i cant seem to get ahold of him, since he hasnt returned my phone calls

donno buddy....maybe buy a clean titled frame...swap it out and sell it...shouldn't be too expensive for that bike. just make sure its something you can come out ahead on and your not losing money

well man i bought the bike for 1500 buck and it has 17k on the odometer... and these frames are crazy expensive, cant find any less then 600 bucks

Yamaha made:
FZ 600
FZR 600
YZF 600R
YZF R6
YZF R6S
YZF R6R
As far as I know only the FZ and FZR motors are interchangeable, and the R6/R6S of the same body style.
I wouldnt waste my time with an FZ/FZR or YZF600R they were all heavy slow pigs and not EFI.
Its possible that the YZF600R motor is the same as the FZR, they look similar but that doesnt mean anything. It could be an FZR motor with different cams like Suzuki did with the Katana/GSXR. Youd have to ask some of those straight line racer squids that know all those bikes inside and out.
Isnt there an FZ6 that has the R6 motor like the FZ1 has the R1 motor?
