If you are at the point your hucking your bike and shattering sliders there\'s not much out there that\'s going to save them. The design is fine.. I have had my si cage 2 years and about 1/2 way worn the sliders. You don\'t want the aluminum pucks, they transfer the impact to the bike and the derlin absorb and shatter. That cheap derlin puck could have saved the frame tab or engine mount from the impact. Just keep your head up! Quote:

\r\n \r\n alright thanks have another question tho about the idle and slowing this shit down asked over on stunt life but no response. everytime i get the bike to bp it only carries its self on the idle for a very short period of time and either i 12 the shit out of my tail or the front end drops i dont have a tach but my idle seems to be up pretty damn high and i was under the impression that once you get it to bp the idle should carry it\r\n

today was my first day out with the cage and i layed it down learning and the damn left slider broke right off because its plastic and the design for them isnt very smart IMO. My buddy has a 03 f4i SI cage and it has metal sliders and the bolts for it go sideways instead of straight into the cage anyone else have a problerm with this ????
