Also if a northstar ever overheats game over if it blows a head gasket you looking at big bucks to get it fixed and a small chance the repair will last. The starter is under the intake manifold. The notorious oil leak. The non replaceable head studs. Garbage motor.

thats all im lookin at it is CL. trust me i want a honda bad jus for the gas/reliable factor..fuck the looks. But when i find a 98 caddy with 77k on the clock thats mint, it sways my mind bro lol

I said it in your other thread....my boy bout a 90 accord with 285k on it for $500 drove it for a few years and sold it at 335k for the same $500.....they are out there.....keep looking.....

Man get a 94-99 accord 4cyl or a 93-01 civic with a million miles and do a JDM swap CHEAP. It will have 30kmi or so and you can also pick up a trans for nothing from these guys.

We needed a 4 door so I got on CL bought a 95 accord 4cyl manual and I swapped the single overhead non-vtec motor with a JDM H22A prelude motor and now this little bastard will run with a gt stang on the highway and has 4 doors and gets 30mpg when Im not beating on it.

Car 425 blown w/blown headgasket
JDM H22 w/ broken valve cover 700
Valve cover from local tuner shot 50
P13 ECU to run it 75

Car that runs 14s w/good mpgs and 4 doors Priceless
