dunlop racing slick on the front. maxi racing slick on the back. I dont use the front tire anyway.

i tried a couple of those maxxis supermaxx's and very much liked them. i like the m3 too but it wears fast. rear of course.
front i like bt002s or power 2cts. usually dont slip out if they are clean and warm.

I just got a stack of pilot race take offs from some chick that roadraces as a hobby and works with my wife.... Anyone ever run those slicks on thier stuntbikes?
I got a stack of like 4 rear and 6 front tires... Iv'e never run slicks on any of my bikes before on purpose!LOL What can I expect different from a normal street pilot or whatever?

ive ran a front and it gripped well but i believe it was had a more aggressive profile then a street performance tire... so when i did my signature shitty stoppies it felt very responsive in the bars. i.e. turned very easy. never ran one on the back. always thought it would be garbage by just looking at the shape they usually are after getting the piss ran out of em.

well.. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it or not, but they are off of a girls bike. I don't think she's as agressive as she might think she is.
And I'm not sure but Iv'e seen my street tires look worse. there is one front tire that has the edges pretty curled up on its perimeter kind of.. made it look wrinkley, but the rest, idunno... not so much??
is there a wear indicator on them? I see a notch taken out of them all like it would be a tiny spot of tread about 1/2 inch long...It's pretty deep too still...
good drifting tire maybe??

yea.. that's what I thought I was seeing was a wear indicator.
these slicks I got are pretty freakin good then! Maybe I'd have to see one new, Thanks for linkin me to that ebay auction to show me an example... but why in the world would someone pay $110. for a used racing slick?
