Thanks for the positive feedback! Tank came up much better as I expected

\n
\nYeah, I know it\'ll break... My plan was to use that original subframe (strong & light weight) and weld/bolt all mounts on it. Just can\'t stand that original nana seat...
\n
\nI\'ve made a 600rr tail conversion for my earlier bike (900rr) and had to fabricate the whole subframe out of nothing (there was plenty of things I learned not to do ):
\n
\n
\n
\n...but making the whole subframe out of steel makes it so bulky that I\'ll try to use that original F4i subframe as I said. I\'ll keep that DIY-steelsub as a second option in this project.
\n
\nYesterday gave me some good news: the guy who measured my frame for registry inspection has finally sent the documents by mail on monday -> I should receive the papers today and will register the bike asap!
\n
\nTips and feedback are allways welcome!
\r\n \r\n
\r\n
if you put a dent in that tank to make it look smaller.....that thing would be bad ass hell. I dont like to many diffrent fairing conversions but this looks awsome\r\n

\r\n \r\n i got an o5 f4i and also hated the long ass banana seat. but instead of fabricating a whole new subframe you can always put an older f4i subframe on, it bolts right up\r\n

very nice job on the tank, i was gonna say it will be difficult to get a good dent with a repaired tank but something tells me you\'ll have it under control!

\r\n \r\n Thanks for the positive feedback and encouraging words!
\n
\nThat white 900rr was my first bike build and it was never totally completed. Now it\'s for sale and totally in stock FF condition (btw, it was also crashed bike without titles as I bought it).
\n
\n...back to main menu, the F4i: got some eBay-shit and all the parts needed should be received by now. I just found another SR topic where was told theese Danmoto 3D -clipons I bought wasn\'t very good quality, but I\'ll try what it\'s worth. I\'ll change the clipons carbage bolts (bolts allready picked up) and hope they\'ll stay firm...
\n
\nStill waiting some crashcage material from my friend. I\'ll go as a SF but design the cage suitable for FF. 55t sprocket from my old 900rr has been taken to machinist to grind it fit to my F4i.
\n
\nI\'ll post some pics as soon as something concrete happens!\r\n

I\'ve allready changed those bolts... I\'ll try with theese cheap adjustables, atleast it will help to find out the best setup for me (0- or 7- degree, front or side mount).\r\n

Here\'s the current situtation:
\n
\n
\n
\nChristmas time went with my sauna\'s ("steam room") renovation, which is now done - now I have time for my bike again.
\n
\nI started to mount those adjustable clipons (in the picture), but I think they will not work well like that. I\'ll take that middle section off (height adjust) and mount clipons on top of the triple -> still able to adjust the clipons degree. Here\'s the pic of clipons:
\n
\n
\n
\nI got some steel tube and I\'m ready to start building the cage!
\n
\nI think I\'ll make the whole subframe from steel, otherwise I\'d have to modificate the original subframe quite hard...\r\n

\r\n \r\n Nice! yeah dont know about those clipons but if its all you have use them for now. The subframe rebuild is a good idea too! Better to match once than struggle with a rattling problem or something like that!\r\n
