This will definitely help ya... I wish i would have kept the cardboard templates ... I bet I could sell those damn things... took a lot of cardboard till I got it right.

I've been getting around 15 ... my titan got about the same so no big loss for me.

Ya 15 isn't bad I'd be happy with 15+

Why did you put a wall in? Looks nice but I woulda left it open for more room. And so if your bummin it to ROC next year with a couple buds theres not a giant wall in the way between driver/passengers.

Exhausted... frustrated... stressed...


Rested and new day making more templates for the pegboard walls





Peg board walls mounted after painting with my grey deck paint... the 4x8 sheet wasnt tall enough lengthways so what I decided to do was cut it short where I wanted my tie down points to be and then drill and add the tie down points. After that was done I will black masonite cover for the bottom (by the wheel well). I also added drop plastic behind it for looks (through the pegboard holes) as well as further insulation.





Test fitting bikes with stunt cages (used aaron twites 675 and his 636)


Here are Sergey "Redstar" and Pete "KingJafeJoe" bikes test fitting at the spot to ensure I had the chock places marked properly.


The 4 inch pvc cut in half was a bit too skinny for the 120 front tire...


I almost gave up here and actually spent a lot of money to buy wheel chocks... Until I discussed the problem with my roommate and he apparently as a kid used pvc like this to make star-wars storm-trooper costumes.

� Preheat your oven to 300 degrees... leave in for 3 minutes then use old tire to flex your pvc pipe to fit snug.

Left is before heating and fitting... the right one fits perfectly!

IMPORTANT: DO NOT ASSUME THE LEFT AND RIGHT SIDE ARE THE SAME... THEY ARE NOT... SAVE YOURSELF THE FRUSTRATION AND BUILD A LEFT AND RIGHT TEMPLATE INSTEAD OF THINKING YOU CAN MIRROR IT.



After mounting tie down points and painting the pvc with plastic paint... Here is my 2005 636 with doo doo brown tank that I haven't started building yet as I've been too busy with this van build... (The guy I bought it from thought the brown spray can was black supposedly) ... Anyway here is it mounted in my custom pvc wheel chocks that cost a total of 10 bucks and they work amazingly.

These pics were taken yesterday in a rush so I'll unload the bike and get some better pics of this soon.



Garage side still needs led rope lighting, a vent, and custom door panels.

I havent posted pics of the front half of the van yet... there is a about 11 feet of storage to the driver and passenger seat... the back ~6.5 feet is garage... the front ~4.5 feet has a custom L couch I built that can seat 5 passengers ... it also turns into a full size bed.

The wall is there for a variety of reasons
• Fumes - The wall is air tight sealed... these motorcycles vent a lot of fumes especially in the summer ... I tested it without the wall and the fumes were annoying... I couldn't imagine trying to sleep in there.
• Security - I'm going to padlock the backdoor so even if you get in the front you cant get to my gear tools and bikes.
• Organization - the back is a garage with tools etc... the front is clean carpeted sleeping quarters... if there was no wall I imagine it would be a mess.
• Separate sleeping quarters - if i go camping with friends or bring bikes in a trailer two can crash in the back and two can crash up front in separate rooms.

Jeez..... That van is turning out to be SUPER SICK!!! Makes me want to get rid of my truck!! Then i could have a napper/bike van AND a nice daily driver car!!!
