Strong companies don\'t take care of people that don\'t contribute and they make the tough cuts when they have to i.e. layoffs......while in some sort of conservative fantasy world this sounds great.....this is so impossible in our society that even typing it makes me question your sanity......You can\'t just say this is the way it should be.....you have to look at the big picture and pitch ideas in the realm of reality......Quote:

with all the handouts and medicare and shit?? You think the US can just cut that and forget about all of those people?? You think there is anyway outside of a magical wish that that could happen?? And what you just said, is totally contradictory. Yes, I think (most) socialist handouts can just stop, (and lets make it clear that medicare is not a handout). You call me a conservative (which I say is mostly a correct assumption) and question my sanity, but you think I\'m for government handouts, and giving benefits to random people on the streets??? I think you\'re confused. What I\'m saying is not impractical. I believe in a free market system, and history has shown us that it is the most effective way to unleash a societies productive forces.\r\n

I\'m not under the belief that our government has fucked us so badly that we can\'t recover - it seems like you are?
