Usually when filming you'll know how you plan on using the footage. If your mixing with DSLR footage or a nice shooter the 1080 will work great and worth killing the extra storage.

I usually keep it on 720 cause you can fit more on a card. I run a 32gig card in mine especially for timelapse and streetride stuff, just let it roll.

+1

I have a question about the 30fps and the 60fps... if im not gonna do slow mo is there a benefit to using the 60fps or is it just not needed. Cause in the video comparing the two i really cant see any difference without the slo mo.

so what editing software does everyone use?
i put my setting to r5 and i think that may have been the problem, i tried to put it in microsoft movie maker and it wont work, wrong file

then i tried it all over on a different computer, a mac, and i triend using imovie, and it wouldent work either

so i'm to the point now that on both my home computer and work computer i can do nothing with the videos i got at the lot this weekend

on movie maker i got the pictures that i took, and i downloaded VLC media player as thats what it says to do on their website but i need to edit the footage not just watch it, PLEASE HELP
