You should check out the info that airbrushjohn posted about adjusting the idle on these it's a pain in the ass on the 08 and above. Lots of other good info in that thread too about how to get more low end torque out of it. If you can't find the thread using the advanced search I can dig it up for you.

Good luck with your build and post lots of pics, everbody likes a good bike build. Oh yeah, you don't need an oil pick up. Just run the oil to the top of the sight glass. Don't forget to do the clean air mod too before you get it up on one. I've been playing around with my neutral safetly switch too because if you just bridge it you lose power on these. I wired mine to a toggle to trick the ecu.

Alright do ing the clean air mod on my buddy Mayhem's 600 and my 750 both 2005 models.

In the pics i can find the air missing the octopus of hoses circles in the first pic.

Should i connect the to open hoses that were going into the air box?

Not sure about the multi connection compared to the next pic of one already done that I googled.

this is the example i was working with ~_~

Ok the two hoses running from the head to the AIS solenoid(Octopus of hoses LOL) needs to be unplugged. You put the T there and run that back to the crankcase vent like the picture you showed. The holes on the airbox that now have nothing to connect to them are capped off. I just went to autozone and got a box of vacuum caps.

Most people remove it entirely. I know OMR was saying how on the 636 you can do something to the solenoid to leave it inline but can't remember what he said to do and not sure if you could do the same thing on yours or not.
