I second that. Its hard for me to go in places like walmart and have to deal with stupid people. Its gets to the point where I have to drop my stuff and walkout before I reach over the counter and strangle the cashier.

first full day i was back home i went to McDonald's and there was a guy in his forties throwing a fucking fit over something stupid, don't remember exactly what it was but i actually told him to shut the fuck up and be greatful he has the option to go to places like that. he looked at me like a had a dick on my head at first but i think he realized what i meant, never apologized but was humbled.

don't know what you're guys experiences were but we were attached to 7th group for a while and were lucky if we had 2 full MRE's a day. sounds sick but i kinda miss it in a way too

I definitely miss being in country.

Last summer I was setting thing up to go to afgan because i found out with the marines you can come out of irr for 1 year to do a work up and deploy. Didnt go through with it cause I didnt want to get stuck with a shitty unit and hate my life again for the next year.

thats the reason i want Airborne. i knew the standards across the board were much higher in a jump unit as opposed to the regular Army. i told myself i'll be damned if i'm around a bunch of fuck heads that i don't trust. my unit was sick as fuck. didn't know what i had till i gave it up.

I know on night missions we jacked food from houses all the time. 3 square meals a day my ass

I dont have anything severe or diagnosed, but I had some issues with nightmares and severe night sweats after returning from my second deployment to Iraq.

i do not have ptsd, but from being on ships/ floating cities, i can no longer go on boats where i cant see land. i cannot be in super crowded places. and i trust no one
