It's to add a mountain bike adjuster thingamij so if you wanna flip your idle instantly from stock to i dunno 2 or 3k then instantly to 5 or 6k for faster no handed shit then up/down/whatever - you can do it all at the flip of the lever and be accurate with regards to what the idle is set at each time you flip the lever for each different trick. Just be careful with where you put it because if you kick it on accident you most likely will get fucked up.
