The slam and sit at bottom that Racetech does is ridiculous in my opinion.
Just as ridiculous as someone saying try solid front forks.. With no suspension.

we arent running 20 laps at a race track so our fluid doesnt get near the amount of use a race bike would , i have never had a problem with inconsistency in my forks even when doing stoppie after stoppie after stoppie , i think even with good brake fluid your brakes would heat up and act funny long before your fork oil would ..

alot of suspension shops will tell you not to run thicker fluid for two reasons , 1 they want you to buy springs and valves and shit like that so they can make money and 2 most of their customers are racers so the fluid would probably need changing more often if it was getting hot but on a stunt bike i dont see it as a problem ..

I have to agree we stunters do beat up bikes, but in different ways compared to track/race bikes. They beat up certain parts harder then we do...

For example I used to think we stunters beat up front brakes, but my brakes got hotter in 3 laps on the track then a whole day smashing stoppie after stoppie...

Its funny when the race shops try to give me advice on how to work on or setup my stunt bike, its never right for stunting but makes sense to them for track...

nothing wrong with running thicker fluid

it allows you to have a nice slow rebound and gives you more adjustment on your preload , the more you tighten down your preload the less effective your rebound settings are so a thicker fluid lets your rebound work even with a tight preload setting ..

another little trick is to adjust your air gap , it gives you the same effect as changing your spring rate with out needing to revalve your forks , air compresses oil doesnt so making the air gap a little smaller is like getting a stiffer spring and making the air gap bigger is like having a softer spring ..

after market springs usually completely negate your rebound settings unless you revalve so a slight air gap adjustment gives you the same effect as a rate change but doesnt adversely effect your rebound..

why are you quoting me? I have no idea what you are talking about but it sounds like you want an argument

i was just quoting you because it seemed like you were agreeing with the thicker fluid comment and i really believe it's more of a sales pitch than an actually reason ..

gain more momentum when it compresses down. tire will stick better from transfer of weight. I never said they bottomed out either. diffrence between planting and bottoming out to where it thuds and makes creaky noises. plus its how i like my set up and I dont think its so rediculous.....I have absoultly no problem riding or doing long stoppies. ask OMR
