2 V-blocks and a dial gauge, rotate them in the blocks slowly and look at the dial gauge for run out. If you want to be precise you need to disassemble them...

If you dont have access to V-blocks you can use a good solid mounted vise with no play, and turn the fork bottoms.

The easiest way to check em is to loosen the pinch bolts on the top tree and the lower tree... then grab each fork tube and try to twist it,if they dont spin then you got bent forks,you dont need to take the wheel off,its not super accurate but you can tell if they are bent without takin everything apart.

Thats not a good way to check because there are other problems that can prevent your forks from being able to spin in the triples...For example your triples can just be twisted and out of alignment or your bottom triple can be bent...Not allowing the forks to turn....Doesnt mean your forks are bent, as Ive bent a few bottom triples without bending the forks...

Not to mention he said 954 forks, which are USD forks...So if they are bent, they will be bent on the lower tubes,no the upper sanctions that are in the triples...

Iv never bent a fork that I know of, so I should examine the lower inner chrome that's where they usually bend? I didn't know that and was tryin to look at the upper aluminum cylinder part cus it looked pretty scratched n beat up. They slid in pretty easy but when I went to put the wheel in it kinda felt to loose.. When I slid the axel thru there was almost 5mm of gap on one side or the other. Is that how they are suppose to be?
