bike wont start - P-ham - 11-04-2010 im starting to think its either my stator or rectifier like alex said bike wont start - ALEXD - 11-04-2010 It should be rectifier first before the stator and I would just buy a rectifier first before you even get a voltage meter because your bike isn't running anyway so just put your money towards the part you need but that's just my 2 cents bike wont start - old man roger - 11-04-2010 you can get a voltage meter for 3 bucks from harbor freight , buying parts on a guess gets expensive .. bike wont start - P-ham - 11-06-2010 so i took the rectifier from my other R6 and put it on and it still didnt start so im thinking its not my rectifier now its probably my stator or a loose connection. i tested one of the relays with the light and it blinks instead of a steady light. what should i do?? im about to go tear off that stator bike wont start - old man roger - 11-06-2010 Quote:

ok then here goes volt meter 101 , get a 3 dollar volt meter and set it just like the one in this picture ![]() ![]() if you put the end of the leads on your battery you can tell what the voltage is , red on positive black on negative ![]() no more excuses
bike wont start - sc0braj - 11-06-2010 did you push start it and let it run for a while after you put on the other rectifier? bike wont start - Ethiopian - 11-06-2010 I always wondered why black is negative ? whoever decided that was racist lol. bike wont start - i_throw_nickels - 11-06-2010 and no corosion
