thanks, but ive heard this story 100 times, but ive never seen a frame broken or reinforced from k6,7,8,9,10Quote:

\ni want to reinforce it if it is nessesary. but if its only from hearing \'the all gsxr\'s are bad story\' than i cant do anything with it.
\ni hear a lot of things about gsxr\'s from guys who never even ride with it
\nso maybe you or someone else has a pic from a broken gsxr k6 or newer frame?? and i mean broken by stuntriding, not by accident or so..

\r\n \r\n I can vouge for seeing a broken gsxr frame... CLD107 had 2 massive cracks in his frame on an 07 gsxr... i will hit him up and see if he has pics of the cracks\r\n

\r\n \r\n post it please! i can weld alu myself, so reinforce is no problem. need to know more about the weak points first. i think i already know a place that sucks (the engine mount triangle thing) looks like cardboard. but hey.. this is where the internet is for.. if some guys of here already know it, than i know it before i kill the frame, and reinforce it in advance\r\n

\r\n \r\n Also, check gsxr.com or gixxer.com and do a search and you will see a shit ton of cracked frames and cracked subby\'s.\r\n

\nbut i read that the k4 should be weak also on that forum\'s?? than i cannot take them serieus, ive crashed my old bike so many times.. and realy hard..

\r\n \r\n All I\'ve owner are GSXR\'s. I\'ve never had a frame break, or even seen one break unless it was hammered. Only seen them break in accidents. ANY frame will break if you beat it enough. The old pre-04 600 and 750\'s had cracking issues from stunting. They cracked right above the top motor mount. It goes back to what I keep saying. If you setup the bike properly you won\'t have any issues.\r\n

It really all depends on how hard you slam the bike down. If you don\'t, there won\'t be any problems. My 02 survived with no problems.\r\n

\r\n \r\n ive cracked 2 frames pretty much right through on both sides of it along the weld on my k7 and honestly i dont slam my biek that hard. ive had a couple pancake flops here and there but nothing crazy. maybes its the stoppies too
