I recomend the ASV remote hot start.....you can put it where you want it.....and have an RSC!! They also make perch caps that fit the RSC that have the hot start lever, also. I may integrate a perch cap design next year that incorporates a hot start lever just for the 4-strokers!

thatd be sweet. see i have a moose ez pull on my 300ex quad but if i set it in the softest setting closest to the bar then the clutch drags when you pull it all the way in to stall or coast. i wanna put one on my 150 cuz it needs one a bit easier but dont want it to be the same way

CRF150R Stunt Build Thread - iSam - 10-15-2010

that looks sick, so what master u using?

CRF150R Stunt Build Thread - iSam - 10-15-2010

o a magura, bike looks sick bro for real

CRF150R Stunt Build Thread - Stubbz63 - 10-15-2010

thanks man, gotta fine tune a couple things but when i cant get to the lot and dont wanna trailer or just play in the yard for a while its a fun ass toy to have around.

its a 16mm billet magura i had on my 06 636 stunter but sold it.

nice! hows the handbrake feel with the stock rear caliper?

CRF150R Stunt Build Thread - Stubbz63 - 10-15-2010

its not bad, it does grab decent but if the idle is up a bit it will overpull the handbrake so i keep pullin clutch in so it doesnt loop. maybe a 13mm would be a better master for it, but a bigger caliper would be the best but no idea how to fit one on that stock bracket i dont think any others will adapt to it.

bike looks sick man..are you leavin the knobby tires on it or switchin them to slicks? hows it feel riding bp with the dirt tires?

CRF150R Stunt Build Thread - Stubbz63 - 10-15-2010

Im leaving the knobbies on it for now cuz i use it for all around, trail riding, motocross tracks, lot stuntin etc etc. im gonna try to have a spare set of rims that i can throw some street tires on for next year so it is smoother and easier to balance on pavement cuz the knobbies throw the balance off a bit for circles and even straight wheelies are a bitch sometimes and the bike wants to wonder all over the road.

I had a 50 years ago with streets and it was way easier to control and put where i wanted to. but if i put street tires on now it would ruin what i bought it for really. i ride with a bunch of quad and enduro guys on also and its more for around home when i cant get to the lot and just wanna play around in the yard or in my trails

well with some shitty weather coming and getting colder to work in the garage i said fuck it and tore the entire bike apart in about 2 hours to get everything ready for powdercoat.

Heres a couple pix of the new color, did the frame, swingarm, handlebars in a yellow color that we use to powdercoat some of the Craftsmen mower parts with and send to some other factory to have built. did the triples, motor mounts, brake lever and some other parts to come in a textured black. Haven't gotten the subframe ready for powder yet cuz im trying to shave off as much weight from it as i can before i do but gonna try to do that in the yellow also.

Got a set of brand new white plastics coming for it that should match the headlight and handgaurds perfect, and waitin on steering stem bearings to come in and i can throw it all back together.

id like to do the rims in white but its a pain in the ass to strip the spokes all off and then true them back in but eventually i may it all depends on what i plan to do with the bike and do on, id love 17's and street tires but id need a new swingarm and then id lose my dirt toy. think id rather go with a nice set of really aggresive enduro tires that are more rounded than the sand style tires i have now and it should be much better for circles and such than the ones im runnin now cuz they suck.

more pix to come once i get it back together this weekend.
