I'm done! The "T" design didn't really work for me. I had to re-route some hoses and cut some other hoses.

The "T" method was causing too many kinks.

Thoughts: Idle didn't jump any higher. But, I do think there is a lil more low end power.

just so you know........
this mod isnt done for performance gains (i have heard some say it pulls harder, but thats not confirmed). the reason its done is to keep oil out of your air box so it doesnt go in and hydro lock you engine.

glad it worked out for you

Well, since it hasn't been scientifically proven that you can get some type of performance gain. I'm going to put it out there "that this mod will give you a +1 hp gain"

On bikes with alot of blow by it would make a bog or stall on idle. The engine would be inhaling c02 which doesnt make good for combustion. I imagine all bikes have some blow by from the factory so this should make it pull harder on idle. Now my question is shouldnt we put a breather on the lines we add for letting the crank case breath? Because after a motor gets worn any it would be causing a crank case pressure and in which it would case oil leaks.

LIT the par valves pulls the air out of the cases if the mod is done correct.

If you completely block off all breather ports then how does the motor release build up of pressure. The crankcase vent is going right back into the motor an the par valves don't have a release either.?? Just curious how that works in the long run? I thought you have to have a vent or breather somewhere?

Blocking off the breather ports is a bad idea as they help seat the rings. Race motors in drag cars generally have a setup just like this where the exhaust pulls the fumes out of the bottom end of the motor via vaccum hose and a fitting welded into the exhaust pipe. The factory usually puts those fumes into the intake, but that lessens the potency of the air charge going in. The fumes don't get burned as completely when dumped right into the exhaust, but drag cars aren't built to pass smog testing...neither are our bikes lol

thsnks Brandon for postin this, all i needed was a pic but its actually the same as 636's really just routed a little differently. perfect. thanks much man

make sure and check ur hoses every now and then, i had mine get brittle and break where it connects to the back of the engine. after it broke the 2nd time i went out and bought a better quality hose.

what type of hoses did you use. i have a vinyl clear hose and its a pain in the ass to get the hose and T fitting in there so you can reuse the stock heat gaurd and not have the hoses kinking. a T fitting wouldn't work for me or the hose i got sucks. im reusing the stock fitting from the evap junk and putting a plate over the open hole with an O-ring to keep it sealed up, it'll be much easier to route and not have a kink.
