thats actually the opposite of what you wanna do that + disaster.if you listen he actually stayed on the throttle which corrected it somewhat then he went into the grass.

if you stay on the gas you can accidentilly make it worse sometimes by the bars causing you to gas harder and harder...iknow if you accelerate hard enough to take the tire off the ground it will go away but if you dont do it right it just makes it worse..........either way around it i havent ever had it get that bad so i may be wrong but thats what ive always done

I have tank slapped at least 5 times, Watched a friend of mine slap for almost a whole mile and still saved it, skin from his knees was rubbed off on the frame. You guys do what you want but when i get a bad slapper ill let off the throttle straightens out abruptly everytime.

Now if your headed off the road or something thats another story and its def hard as fuck to let go of the throttle when its such a violent movement but def not impossible. Its proven that staying on the gas will make it worse My dirtbike use to slap all the time when it was wide open cause it was old but it only happend when i was full throttle and the wheel got loose on the dirt, id let off and bam it stopped.
