the 150r is sik but has to much power to be a trail bike youll need to get a heavier flywheel it will help on low end stuff

If it's got drum brakes, you could buy this:

Or make your own, i made my own for my xr100. If you want to make your own I can give you a full writeup in how to do it.

thats exactly what i was thinkin actually, heavier flywheel and a mild cam should smooth it out a bit

yep I want to deck my shit out wheever I get some $ street tires heavier flywheel pro tapper bars fab a bar up and get me a 12 bar this would be the ultimate mini stunt bike its going to be like the new 50 if they start making stunt parts for them

The mid sized bikes are my fav. I don't think you need a flywheel though. My xr100 was
plenty on idle for NTH circles. I would say, street tires, bar, and HB
and you've got an awesome stunt bike

I'm seriously considering picking one up to stunt again. I had a blast on my xr100 and rocked the shit out of it. It was a 1990 too, so I'd bet a brand new crf150 would pull a bit harder on idle

yessr I learned nh sitdown circles I got longer nh sitdowns and I can do sitdown circle hand scrapes dude the idle on the 150R is the best on any midsized dirtbike ive ever been on

Crf 150R Hb - Gundamnitpete - 08-01-2010

Full NH sit down circles is a tough trick, got video?

an xr100 is a completely different bike in every aspect thn a 150r especially the motor, you would never need a heavier flywheel for any xr they are all turds and super easy to do anything on, but the R models is a racebike that winds up 10,000 times faster than an xr could ever dream of doing. you wouldnt need a heavier flywheel for stuntin but it would make trail riding a lot smoother and more controllable for the R model but the xr's are a trail bike so thier motors are slugs

Crf 150R Hb - Gundamnitpete - 08-02-2010

My point was exactly that. My XR100's motor was a turd in comparison to a 150r, and I rocked NTH circles all day on it. So we agree than? No need for a new flywheel
for stunting?

Although my hundo did have a 115 kit with race cam in it...
