$85.00 Secondary (Dual) Caliper Bracket 03/04 636 - Dubb - 05-21-2010 Thanks man spread the word. $85.00 Secondary (Dual) Caliper Bracket 03/04 636 - StuntBikeJake - 05-21-2010 Sorry for all the questions.. but one more just popped into my head What is the thickness of that bracket??? 1/4", 1/8"? That is why I was curious about still using the stock adjuster.. I personally would rather have it made of thicker material and eliminate the stock adjuster just for piece of mind and durability... $85.00 Secondary (Dual) Caliper Bracket 03/04 636 - A.TEK - 05-21-2010 Quote:
FTP, yeahwith slimmer steel u worry about bending under force, i use a cold-rolled aluminum block, it still affords for a much higher tensil strength then hot-rolled. the design here, if you use a gauge to measure spacing then you would no longer need the axle block, it just would keep the nut from moving because there will be a gap from the nut to the lock pin not to thread jack, but if you take a look at mine, not sure if you can see but the adjustment lines are already marked and scribed, if you have a simple hole in your bracket and use the oem piece over it then ur not getting a precise adjustment but not enough to make a difference $85.00 Secondary (Dual) Caliper Bracket 03/04 636 - Dubb - 05-21-2010 Yes it can be made thicker it is made of 1/4 in now but can easily be made thicker to replace the adjustment block. $85.00 Secondary (Dual) Caliper Bracket 03/04 636 - Chadf - 05-23-2010 Works like a champ! |
