\nThomas... check that out. What it does basically is give everyone a "rep" system similar to what you already have but it\'s for buying/selling merchandise. So basically, at a glance you can see how people are with buying and selling stuff. You can give feedback similar to eBay saying whether a transaction was good or bad. Unlike our current rep system where people can give you rep whenever to pull you out of the "red blocks" you have to buy/sell stuff to get rep. It would just be nice to have something a bit more tangible when looking at peoples track record for Classifieds. I mean Big R 508 fucked a lot of people, granted, they were people who should have done their homework but had their been something on his profile specifically for his Classifieds conduct he would have never been able to sell a damn thing after his 1st or 2nd time.... but instead he burned a dozen people.

\r\n \r\n It\'s just a major hassle having to search someones name. And besides, what if they change their name? Welllllllll, all threads based on that person are now lost. So with this, even if they change their name the rep stays with them.

\nAlso I wish in our profiles it has a specific spot for "Previous Names" so you can see what people used to be called. In the event they are douche bags, change their names to something else, we all know who they are still and don\'t pretend to be someone else.\r\n

The itrader thing is gangsta. I saw it used on another forum. How does it work though when it comes to a sale. How does it know that I sold something or if I sell something do I have to click something to let it be known that I sold something to so and so and then we leave rep? Thats the only thing that confuses me. With ebay the stuff is sold through ebay so the buyer and seller are automatically in on the transaction but if you list something here and its paid for through paypal then how does the site know that sale was completed for rep to be left by both buyer and seller

From what I understand the latest version is linked to your Paypal. And when a transaction is done through Paypal, iTrader then allows you to leave rep or receive rep. And I think you are supposed to link your iTrader screen name to Paypal. This is from another forum I read this, but it may not be out yet. But at the very least, being able to leave feedback specifically for sales is key. And if someone is a douche, the moderator can adjust the feedback after discussing the transaction with both parties. So it\'s not final if someone fucks up, or people get rep happy.\r\n

Gotcha. That sounds dope and should definitely be implemented on the site. It would make things a lot easier. I do research when buying shit and probably still would but it\'d make things a lot simpler
