I could have sworn I successfully posted this last night, but I do not see it anywhere in the forums, not sure what went wrong.. Oh well, 2nd try.
I had an idea to collect donated stunt vid dvds and distribute them to troops overseas, to help keep our boys entertained as well as likely improve the image of stuntriding as we know it!
The general idea as I had it was that both businesses & individuals alike could donate stunt dvds, whether new or used, and these would be sent out to as many overseas troops as possible. So if you have a duplicate copy of a vid, or an old one you don't watch anymore, you would be a saint to offer it to the cause.
I'm not sure how exactly to go about it, so does anyone out there have any helpful info or resources? I really want to see this happen somehow.

No I don't, that's what I'm posting up to get help or info on. Right now it is just an idea, with nothing to work with. Besides, I don't want to send a pile of vids to one troop, I want to send a vid or 2 to as many different troops as possible. Spread the love & the good will & word, ya know?

Yeah, I mean, heck... ANYTHING is something, ya know? Really, who cares if it is older or used, it will still mean alot & surely be enjoyed by the soldiers viewing it!

we could send here. a lot of 501c3s for the troops don't accept dvd's, but this one does. can't be an illegal duplicate for obvious reasons. each dvd should be marked on cover and dvd face with "any solider" for reasons stated on the website.

Yeah that brings up a good point...
Until I can think of some more options, anyone who can't/doesn't want to mail their donations themselves to addresses on the website Alie listed above, you can also hand over your donation in person to me or anyone else volunteering to take part in this, when you see one us at events, etc. I have no problem taking on the shipping myself, it's really not that expensive & in my experience the generosity always comes back karmically multiplied.

I think that is a great idea im actually deployed in afganistan right now and have been ordering dvds for me and my fellow stunters who are deployed with me but i have to send to my sisters house first because most companies dont send to apo ae which is a military zip code i just ordered FTP 666 and Back On the Block we cant wait to get them when they come in everthing stops its like movie day we all get together to watch!!!
