And you have a idle cable on there or no? Bikes looking sick tho. You gonna run a foot hoop?
It's too bad the stunt pegs mount so low tho they would be way better mounted twards the rear fender IMO.

Yeah its a 50stunt dcb its the same as ryan was using on his 07 yz250f.

No idle cable on these, theres an adjustment knob to raise it but only slightly but theres an option to pull that knob out a little for cold starting and it bumps idle up even more, its not as high as i would like it yet but i was able to idle some circles the other day without a problem. Theres an adjustment for a CO that can be adjusted to help smooth the bike out on initial twist, ill be getting that done as a lot of guys said it really helps the bike all around, i guess they come super lean on idle due to EPA bullshit.

Im deff runnin a footloop with an SS plate like my 250s had. I just gotta figure that part of it out yet.

I like the pegs where they are actually, thats why i used the 50stunt ones, there in same overall spot as the wr250x ones are. im not a big fan of the cheater style of pegs, im sure they do work better but i like having ability to be able to move around a bit more and once i have the footloop and sss plate it should be pretty fuckin sweet.

I also have an FMF map in my ECU right now and everyones says its way to hard hitting for like tight woods riding and low rpms which is where itll be for stunting mainly so i uploaded a few other maps to try out that should be softer on bottom. Just hope i get another chance to even try them out cuz its starting to fucking snow now.

i sent ya a picture by tex a while back of it. Safe to say i'm in love with it and sooo glad i finally stepped up to a real 450. Power is awesome, circles pretty good too.

I think it would look ALOT cleaner with just a hole in the rear fender with a bar under it than than with a foothoop.

Like elliot has:

Pretty killer video, im thinkin about something like that, i do like the looks of the footloop like i had on the 250 but sorting out how im going to mount anything on the 450 is going to be the deciding factor.

Subscribed, looking forward to your take and opinion on the wr450 once you get it 100% finished and dialed in stubbs! I have been debating doing another sumo build & after building and riding a wr250x a couple years back I know I would liketo do a mx style 450 or mx/enduro 450 style bike like your wr450 or a crf450x.

Good deal man, get up off that grom and get a 450 you'll never look back. The yami's are bulletproof motors, the things an animal everywhere you put it. There an expensive build but i wont ride anything carbed so its well worth it to me. Theres so much you can do with the efi mapping and such to smooth it out i just gotta tinker with that a bit more in the spring time when i can get back on it. Right now its got the fmf map which is hard hitting on bottom but i could circle it. I just gotta sort some minor things out over winter and hopefully finish the build the way i want to but i'll post some pix when i start doing more to it, probly be a little while before i do but i cant wait till spring to really get some time in on this thing

So was it very hard to make the current rear pegs work on the newer bike? I have a '11 Im wanting to start setting up. Not sure if I should wait for the new version on pegs or go ahead and order and work it out. And have you had any problems? Or have you totally replaced the rear sub frame?
