Dual Ratio sprocket. - PHOZE - 07-08-2013

Has anyone tried the drs kit? It's time for a new sprocket and since I usually ride to the lot this seems convenient to me. Thinking of getting it for both my f4i and 636. But would like to get a feedback of anyone who has personally tried this or currently runs one. Thanks.

I like the idea but don't know about the long term durability, and don't like that the website does not post pics of the internals.

I'm sure it is built the best it can be and will last a while but what happens in a couple years when a gear has an issue mid 40mph Highchair?

agreed^^ ive thought about it but i dont ride the streets except when there is mass murder involved.

I commute about twice a week 70 miles round trip and would love to use this if there was more feedback than just Latimer using it in a lot.

durability wouldn't be an issue imo. it uses planetary gearing. same premise used in 4wd units.
klauss made a similar one-off setup. he got the info from the guy makes them so i would guess internals are the same.

My friend has been using his for about a month now. It works good so far, just a little different feeling then a true 66 sprocket he said.

There is a warning in the manual not to ride it in stunt mode at highway speeds for long periods of time. Other then that I dont think there will be a problem with using street mode as the gears inside are not being used in street mode. The mechanism inside is only being used when it stunt mode.

Biggest negative I have is its heavy as shit! Other then that its great quality and it works....

Id buy one for my 2013 but it wont work with my aftermarket rims cush drive, so Im going to order one for my 09 soon
