New to the stunt thing - DRFTrider636 - 07-04-2012 Hello, New to stunt riding but not new to riding. I guess ill start this from when i was a kid. At the age of 12 i started riding and racing BMX, when that got to boring i would street ride. By the age of 15 i got tired of it and jump into motorcross. I raced and competed for another 3 years till i got tired of that and started doing freestyle moto. by the time i got my drivers licence I wanted to go bigger and faster so i started building my first car (89 nissan 240sx) and jump into the world of drifting. After many years of sliding and dumping tons of cash into the car i sold t all and got out of the sport because of school. You can say as I got older in life ive been looking for ways to go faster, jump higher, and go balls out. Now i had nothing and living a normal life riding a bus to school and being bored of life lol. not me at all, so i went out and bought my 05 Kawasaki 636. At first it was only a way to go to school and back but i slowly found myself like always seen how i can take riding my bike to the next level . Ive had the bike now for three months and already learned a few things but its been slow because ive been finding myself spend all my extra cash fixing and doing all the maintenance on my bike that the previous owner failed doing. So the learning has been slow but will get into it ![]() Thats pretty much it, i hope to learn tons and hopefully make some new friends in this sport. thanks for reading! ![]() here some pics of me drifiting and my new bike ![]() ![]() ![]() and the drifting ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() THANKS FOR LOOKING!!! New to the stunt thing - BirDMaN420 - 07-05-2012 Welcome! Definitely need to get myself a drift car in the future
New to the stunt thing - Drakstunt - 07-05-2012 Welcome to SR! New to the stunt thing - DRFTrider636 - 07-07-2012 Thanks guys. and ya Birdman, building and sliding a car is awesome. Just takes all the extra cash you have for tires, wear and tear, and events. But other then that it's a rush. I'm just working on stunting now and see how that goes New to the stunt thing - Jake762 - 07-10-2012 The new bike looks sweet. Have fun learning and dumping that thing. That's what it's all about ![]() That drifting looks awesome too! Like you were sayin, the tires are what gets you. New to the stunt thing - monsterzx9 - 07-10-2012 Quote:
New to the stunt thing - Swanny - 07-10-2012 ^ yea. dont plan on getting into this sport thinking you will be saving any money.. wheelies are a very costly hobbie New to the stunt thing - monsterzx9 - 07-10-2012 I have a bag full of little broken aluminum trinkits. The bag probably cost somewhere in the 500 dollar range, but it ain't worth a Dr. Pepper in weight lol. Everytime I go to the stunt spot I find at least one 10mm bolt or allen head fairing bolt, some times a lever end. LOL I too went from drifting to stunting. I built a car broke the car fixed the car sole the car. Stunting is awesome because when you get caught you can actually get away.
