Wore an endo yesterday..... - Raider - 05-01-2012
So about 15 minutes into riding yesterday I looped an endo somewhere around the middle of second gear. I hopped forward but the bike still hit me, flipped, then hit me again. Thought all was pretty much okay until I tried taking my coat and shirt off and realized they were getting snagged on the bone jutting out of my shoulder, lol.
The bones on top should be touching end to end and held together by a bunch of connective tissue that is no longer there..... Pretty heinous stuff, going to see the surgeon tomorrow
There is also a bunch of nice rash and HUGE bruises!
I work in the emergency room and after the doc looked at it he described it as, "imagine taking a can of pop and throwing it out until the middle of the road during rush hour and leave it there for two days straight..... What you'd pry from the road is what is left of those tissues...." it was pretty random but definitely made me understand
