F4I spark plug part number? - *Tanus* - 01-05-2011

my bike has been running kinda crappy, thought about how to fix and relized Ive ran the same plugs since I got the bike, like 5 years ago, and guessing they are probably the originals, like 10-8 years old and god knows how many miles, probably alot cause I ride this thing everywhere.

Soooo, does anyone know the part number for these?

I think Ive heard the oems are like $15 each, but you can get some cheaper for like $5 each.

I ask cause Im gonna try getting them at autozone instead of the honda dealer. thx

oem's (iridiums) are craaazy expensive over here, like 90 bucks for 4..

in my 2nd f4i engine i used normal plugs, that go into a 900rr.

You can get away with running the cheap crappers..but after a few months of stunting will run worse than years old/20k mile plugs it should have..

get the right ones..it will run MUCH better on idle if you havent changed em in that long.

ngk imr9c-9h, like doodle said, just get ngk irridium tips and save yourself the hassle of changing plugs again, do a throttle bodie sync too and u will be surprised how good your bike runs lol.

Be careful they're NOT all imr9c-9h.....
01- imr9a-9h
02- imr9b-9h
03+- imr9c-9h

I know someone is going to say they're all the same but they're not. And remember... Honda spent millions and millions of dollars engineering these bikes, they ARE smarter than you... Buy the right plugs...
