This is the Stuntride thread for everything GSXR.
I used to ride a 01GSXR750 up until 2005.
Long story short... hit a car.. Picked up a 03 636 and have been stunting it ever since. Recently bought a 07GSXR600 for a good price and want to stunt it.
Problem is I know nothing about stunting gixxers anymore and when I looked at the GXSR help thread on stuntlife it was kind of outdated.

That being said post up all helpful things. IE, known problems, good cages, subcages, kleen air mod, tip over swith bypass, and any other things you can think of.

Right now Im going with I an impakteck cage. OMR subcage. Sick innovations clipons, and 1000rr handbrake master with a custom 4piston caliper bracket from A.TEK.

Post up!

like u posted before, the choppy throttle response issue. it's caused by the secondary throttle controller, the solution is in the thread you made about that. another is the tip sensor can get kinda hookey. DO NOT TRY TO BYPASS IT LIKE AN F4I! YOU WILL BLOW YOUR ECU! bypassing that MUST be done using a resistor. the kickstand switch gets loose after a few drops. subframes sould be better.

Is the tip over switch the same style as the 03's? With the little ring inside?

i know im late and im not gonna read it all but here's my experience. 2ndary throttle controller. right side of throttle bodies. pick up the gas tank, take off the airbox, open ur throttle, open the lower butterflies, unplug it. blah blah blah the things supposed to 'optimize' power throughout the rpm range, so once u get going you can w.o.t. and based on velovicty crap, speed and air to the airbox more blah blah blah it opens the sendary butterflies based on that. it's been a racer trick for a while and i found out about it when i got stuck stock gearing can't go over 80mph on the freeway with the red light flashing. its cus that controller box can fail and you can w.o.t all you want but the secondaries will stay closed so u go no faster. doing wheelies air velocity changes and you constantly are giving vsarried input to the throttle when u pull on the gas. so the sensors and crap never get a solid reading so the secondary is constantly adjusting.

AND THATS WHY 04+ GSXRS HAVEE CHOPPY THROTTLE RESPONSE DOING A WHEELIE

woops, no ring. think of it like a half circle with a stick through the top flat part. ring 'theory' but just 1 piece swinging across the circuit board. if u pop open the tip sensor box n take it out it wont start. but you CAN glue it in place.

Here’s what I have so far. Dented the tank… and it was a pain in the dick.
I think I bottomed out on the vent tubes. There’s a spot on the left side of the gas cap that won’t dent anymore, and I don’t want to crack a tube.
I’m tossing all the plastics in the trash. There all those shitty ebay plastics and none of them line up right.
The beast so far. pretty much wrecked stock

I like the blue rims

just get a new tank, ebay tanks like that and 05+ 636 are cheap. denting tanks is always fun. if its hard to fit your tank back on after you dented it then ur dents the wrong angle/too deep. you can flip it over, bang it back and hit again. since its still on the bike. get a section of pipe you can fit in the gas cap opening, stick in, and go back-forth-side to manipulate the cap a little back to normal
